El 30 de junio de 2023 cerró la tienda Hija de J. Battle Horta, situada en el número 48 de la vía Laietana. Isabel Devant, quinta generación del negocio familiar, cerró el negocio por jubilación.
El establecimiento surgió en el año 1917, en la calle de Sant Pere Més Baix, como una fábrica de libros de contabilidad. En 1925 realizó su traslado a la vía Laietana y en los años 50 incorporó material de papelería.
