Descripción de la fotografía 2750: EN ESTE MISMO TOMO DE LA HISTORIA (UNAS CUANTAS PÁGINAS ANTERIORES) AL PIE DE LA FOTO Nº 2697 = PUSE UNA NOTA DONDE EXPLICO QUE EL COLABORADOR GRÁFICO, DON VICENTE SERRANO SUBIELA HABÍA CESADO POR SU VOLUNTAD EN LA GRAN AYUDA QUE ME HACÍA CON LAS FOTOS QUE DABA. COMO DESPUÉS NO ME HA FACILITADO NINGUNA MÁS HE TENIDO CASI POR UN AÑO QUE IR BUSCANDO FOTOS ANTIGUAS QUE SON LAS QUE FIGURAN EN PÁGINAS ANTERIORES A LA PRESENTE.
EN JUNIO DE 1976 ME PRESTÓ SU AMABLE COLABORACIÓN GRÁFICA, CONCHITA SÁNCHEZ LORENTE, NACIDA EN ESTE PUEBLO DONDE RESIDE, MUY AFICIONADA A LA FOTOGRAFÍA, Y PERSONA MUY INTELIGENTE COMO LO ERA SU MADRE, JOSEFA LORENTE, POETISA DE AFICIÓN QUE HIZO POESÍAS MUY INSPIRADAS, CUYAS FACULTADES EN ESTE RAMO? HAN SIDO HEREDADES POR SU HIJA (NUESTRA COLABORADORA CONCHITA) A QUIEN AGRADECEMOS CON ESTAS LÍNEAS SU AYUDA EN ESTA HISTORIA.
TODAS LAS FOTOS QUE SIGUEN A ESTA PÁGINA SON COMO UN PASEO POR EL PUEBLO Y EN ELLAS FIGURAN VISTAS GENERALES EN LAS QUE APARECEN NUEVAS EDIFICACIONES HECHAS EN LOS ÚLTIMOS AÑOS EN LOS QUE LOS CONSTRUCTORES Y LOS PARTICULARES HAN CONTRIBUIDO AL NOTABLE MEJORAMIENTO DE ESTE PUEBLO AUNQUE EN MUCHAS OCASIONES HAN PERJUDICADO LA ANTIGUA FISIONOMÍA DEL PAISAJE MAGNÍFICO QUE ANTES HABÍA. PUNTO ESTE LAMENTABLE PERO CON LA ATENUANTE DE QUE HA SIDO GENERAL EN TODA ESPAÑA ESTA EQUIVOCACIÓN AL NO AJUSTARSE A PLANOS Y ORIENTACIONES ARTÍSTICAS Y QUE HAN SIDO OBLIGADAS POR EL CRECIMIENTO DE HABITANTES Y EL FENÓMENO MUNDIAL DEL TURISMO.
